What make companies successful?




The seminar "Inspiration for Business Development", held as part of Week 45, attracted about fifty participants. The focus of the day was how companies can benefit from the university - from students to scientists - and the research institutes (Acreo, for example) are available. In addition, there was talk a bit about the possibilities of EU projects.

Anna Öhrwall-Rönnbäck who normally is the director of the CAM, the Center for Business Development in Small Business at Linköping University, was the moderator. She talked about studies that CAM made ​​about what it is that makes companies successful. It turns out, for example, that many companies who want to quickly grow and be profitable must be either willing to take risks.
 

Emma Hanson from innovation account rett at Linköping University talked about opportunities for collaboration with students at LiU. Innovation Account rett's work includes visiting companies across the region, to talk about this and forge more links between industry and universities.

In addition to inspiring lectures from there was plenty of time for mingling in the afternoon, an important part in enhancing dialogue and build on their networks.
